Cavaliers favorites to win 2016 NBA title, Spurs second after Aldridge addition

After an impressive, yet ultimately disappointing performance in the NBA Finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the odds-on favorite to win the 2016 NBA Title, according to a Las Vegas SuperBook.

The Cavaliers were missing All-Stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in the Finals, and their return next season may just be enough to propel Cleveland to that elusive title.

The addition of LaMarcus Aldridge to the San Antonio Spurs boosted their odds to the second highest league-wide, behind only the Cavaliers, and noticeably ahead of the defending-champion Warriors.

Injuries played a big part in the playoff picture last season, and no team was hit harder than the Thunder, who lost both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to separate injury issues throughout the season, ultimately causing them to miss the Playoffs. The healthy return of those two superstars give the Thunder the fourth-highest odds.

Will the Golden State Warriors be able to successfully defend their title? Will the addition of LaMarcus Aldridge be enough to allow the Spurs to continue their extended streak of success? Will LeBron and co. finally be able to deliver that elusive ring to title-starved Cleveland? After a busy summer that included plenty of players switching teams, the 2015-16 NBA season figures to be an exciting one.
