"On an underwhelming trade deadline day, the Sixers found themselves making a move, albeit not the one fans were hoping for.
After being brought up in trade discussions for Atlanta’s Josh Smith
and Orlando’s J.J. Redick, moves that would have at least ejected a
little bit of excitement into the franchise, the Sixers only move was
the acquisition of PG/SG Charles Jenkins from Golden State.
Jenkins, selected with the 44th pick of the 2011 NBA draft, is in his
second season in the league, and boasts career averages of 5.8 point
and 3.3 assists per game.
The Sixers gave up a second round draft pick for Jenkins, who will likely be part of a salary cap dump this summer."
